Bridesmaid Gift: What are your thoughts on this?

I saw something on the node in the message boards section that was just unique enough that I could not decide whether it was cute or pretentious. Instead of the typical jewelry or something that fits their personality and hobby, the bride's shopping bags from a variety of their favorite things (like a spin-off of Oprah's favorite things collection, which she does frequently). If you receive something similar to what you would think, honestly?

I love the bag idea. In fact, as I there are more than jewelry. Most young women have some form of Nice, dress up jewelry. They'll probably want to with her maid of honor To wear clothes. I do not want to give my girls something to wear them ever again after the wedding. What a waste! Let people wear their own jewelry. Anyway, I love the idea.
